Dale, you obviously like eastern Washington. It's a special place that not everyone can appreciate. Majestic mountains are easy to get excited about, but not many people let their jaw drop at the sight of flood basalts or endless sagebrush. This gallery is nice; I especially like "Room with a View" and "The Lost Highway. Hope you post more of the same. You might enjoy the photos I took during a trip in 2003, concentrating on landforms related to the ice age floods:http://www.pbase.com/listorama/2003wa .

Great images here! I grew up in eastern Washington so there's really a sense of familiarity with them. I particularly like the ones with basalt formations. Thanks for posting such great shots. Daniel.
