Upper Red River Valley Views (most from the Frederick cabin)

This is the view of the Upper Red River Valley from the road just as you prepare to drive down into it. The cabin sits a mile and a half up the valley on the left side. Wheeler Peak is the mountain you see in the middle, and is the highest point in New Mexico.

This is what you see on an August morning around 8:15AM when you look out one of the front windows of the cabin. The Red River itself runs about 30 yards beyond the trees at the end of the meadow.
