Dad - the last . . .

This gallery contains the last photographs taken of my father. They were also taken during his last trip to the cabin, our, and especially his, little peace of heaven on earth.

Although there should be much more for me to say, I can't find the words. My father passed away on September 26, 2008.

The photos with the red copyright statement in the lower right corner were taken by myself, the remainder by my father. I will work to get them in chronological order, as each of ours are, but they are not as a whole.

Dale, It's enough just to say "I love you, Dad". I know that he knew that and loved you and your family too. I'm so glad you were able to spend this most recent time with him at the cabin. Both Val & your dad loved being there so much. You'll have those good memories to sustain you and you've managed to get some great photos of him! It is so very special to see a God loving family all together doing what they do best "being together as a family and loving each other". It just doesn't get any better than that. The memories and the love you all have for each other can never be taken away. Even though Fred has left this world, he remains deep in our hearts forever. God Bless Your wonderful family.
