Most of the images are of three Lesser Goldfinches that have been visiting my thistle feeder (and none of the other, suet, or otherwise) for about a month now. I've added some captions.
Note that these birds are at a maximum, 4 1/2 inches in length, where the other finches are around 6 inches in length.
I've observed both the Male and Females in song, they really are quite distintive, and I can locate them rather easily upon hearing them. When the house is quiet enough, I can even tell that they are paying us a visit . . .
