I agree with Laura in that you decided to get the whole shot with the people. It shows the perspective of how high Old Faithful is and makes for a more interesting image.
I think that's true - judging from the scale of this. My memories of it in that time distant galaxy was a considerable amount higher (and not just 'cause I was shorter then LOL). You were sure in the right place to get the whole thing in, and including the people made for a very nice shot.
