Propstop's Taxi Goes Down

During the Tickfaw 200 at the Propstop Inn the shuttle boat used taxi people from their boats to the dock accidently sunk in the river. It took on water and sunk like a brick in about a minute. Everyone survived but I am sure that there were many cell phones and cameras that drowned.

yeah i was standing on the dock i really didn't even know what was going on till someone told me...guess i was having WAYY!!! too much fun...glad everyone was ok!!

Everyone on the boat is laughing and has a big smile on their face. No one freaked out so that is why you did not see a major rescue attempt. No big deal at all. Another day at the Propstop.

Don't make a big deal out of it, nobody got hurt. Looks like it was a fun afternoon on the river for all involved, one for the porch conversation during golden years.

Lets not ruin a great thing on the Tickfaw River,just imagine if their was no Prop Stop,it would not be the same down here on the bayous,We dont need no friggin captain,and we dont need no DWF,LPPD,or attorneys involved here, This is living at its finest right here in Southern Louisiana THANK GOODNESS FOR THE PROPSTOP from BAYOU CARRIAGE

Would this be a case for coast guard or the game warden? Must not be any authority on that river...I can't even count all of the violations I see!

EVEN A BUNCH OF DRUNK IDIOTS SHOULD HAVE ENOUGH SENSE TO GET OFF OF A BOAT THEY ARE CAUSING TO SINK BEFORE IT GOES UNDER.IT'S NOT LIKE THEY WEREN'T GOING TO GET WET ANYWAY. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The boat was being operated by a non coast guard licensed captain (required in this application) and was not inspected as a vessel carrying more than 6 passengers for hire ( no he didnt charge then directly but did recieve compensation for their passage) is required to be.

THIS IS JUST ONE EXAMPLE OF THE DANGERS OF TOO MANY TOURIST ON THE RIVER WHO DON'T KNOW JACK ABOUT BOATING.THESE SAME TOURIST ARE ALSO THE MAIN SOUECE OF LITTER ON OUR RIVERS.
