Julie Nix, Debi's sister ran the Mardi Gras Marathon in New Orleans on 2/24/08. She ran her personal best race with a time of 2 hours 21 minutes and 16 seconds. Randy Nix, her husband ran the 5K race with his personal best of 27 minutes.
