I could not agree more -- I find it unfathomable that so many people can look at the beauty, design, and functional order so obvious in this universe and convince themselves that, given enough time, it just happened by chance. What a beautiful gallery. My family was able to visit Zion this past July. It was without a doubt one of the most amazing places that I've ever seen! We didn't have clouds when we were there either...but did you notice the amazing shades of blue ~ I could never quite get over just how vibrant the color of the sky could be. Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos! ~Kim

Sorry it took so long for me to respond to your comments! This has been a very busy month. I agree with your comment about shooting Kolob at sunset -- it's got to be beautiful. I pray that the next time I'm blessed with a trip to Zion I'm also blessed with some really outstanding cloud formations. When we were there, there were virtually no clouds. Ron Horloff (hope I'm spelling it right) has a beautiful gallery with some cloudy skies that are breathtaking! Thanks again for visiting. God Bless, Greg

Hmm, I'm guessing that since Kolob Canyons was already changing the end of October would probably be good in the valley. Speaking of Kolob, I'm going to try to get there for a sunset next time. I'm betting that the light would hit the cliffs just right at that time.

Greg, Nice pictures! Thanks for leaving the link for me. I had planned to visit Zion last October, but that trip fell through. I was hoping to catch the leaves changing colors, but it looks like I should probably think about going there a bit later. I could see some yellow in your Watchman picture while the leaves were all green in your Reflections picture (both of which I like very much). I see that you were there on the third week of October. I wonder if the leaves would be changing either the next week, or the first week of November. In any case, I'd love to go back and see green leaves too.

I live here in Utah and just a couple hours drive from where ya took most of these photos. Its one of the most beautiful places in the world. One of these days I'll get down there with my camera and get some pics. Ya got some nice photos in here... Keep it up Shaner
