These are a few images I captured on an outing to watch the daily feeding flight of the bat colony living under the Congress Bridge in Austin, TX. The event is a must see for anyone visiting Austin. Each evening around sunset more than 1 million bats leave their home under the bridge and fly down the Colorado River to consume between 10,000 to 30,000 pounds of insects.
