The Blue-headed Quail-Dove must REALLY love being in the dark because every time we saw them during our recent trip to Cuba it was DARK. The lack of light, makes them a challenge to photograph and if that wasn’t enough the birds seem to never stop walking around! All I can say is I’m glad I took a ton of photos when we had opportunities to see these birds because wow a lot of them came out blurry and this bird is too cool to not get a good shot of.
