Right as it was getting too dark to take a photo on the first day of our trip to Arizona this Rivoli’s Hummingbird came in and posed for us. I didn’t think I would have enough shutter speed to catch the gorget flash but, as luck would have it, this one turned out. It was a nice foreshadowing of the bounty that our trip would yield.
