One of my favorite bird songs is that of the Canyon Wren and wow was it amazing hearing it during our recent Arizona trip in Box Canyon. We looked around and finally found out songster in a little cave in the canyon wall putting on a great show. Even though it doesn’t show off the whole bird, my favorite photo was this one of him checking us out from a crack in the rocks. It definitely stimulated my imagination with images of what it might be like to be that tiny bird darting through all the small crevices and cracks of the rock walls.
