Snowy Plovers were our first subjects yesterday morning when we arrived at Bolivar Flats and I have to say these little birds are fun to watch. It always amuses me to see them darting around plucking little morsels from the sand. I guess that plump round body and that little tiny beak and those long legs just makes them adorable.
