We arrived in New Mexico just in time to catch the evening fly in at the front ponds of Bosque del Apache NWR. Wave after wave of Sandhill Cranes flew past us on their way to land in their evening roost giving us some great opportunities to work on silhouettes. We had so many opportunities we couldn’t help but to get some nice photos. What a wonderful way to kick things off!
