We had a great day exploring Choke Canyon State Park yesterday with lots of south Texas specialty birds around. I enjoyed the Green Jays, Long-billed Thrashers and such but I have to say this little cutie stole the show for me. Verdin may not be a south Texas specialty but I do so get a kick out of seeing them.
