This Snowy Plover found some interesting shelter yesterday morning at the Texas City Dike. Who would have guessed that a tire track could make such a nice wind break? Before I got in line with the track all I could see was the top have of his head peaking out and keeping an eye on what was going on at the beach. I already find Snowy Plovers to be crazy cute and this scene was the icing on the cake.
