The weather this afternoon at Brazos Bend State Park was strangely pleasant. It was one of those days when it looked like it would start raining at any moment but it never really got around to it aside from an occasional light drizzle. It was an incredibly peaceful afternoon and the fall colors were vivid. The White Ibises must have found it peaceful as well as they allowed us a very close approach for photography.
