I was surprised how long it took for me to get a decent photo of an African Fish Eagle during our trip to Ethiopia earlier this year. It seemed like we saw at least one each day but somehow, I was always looking at something else or otherwise distracted when one would fly past. We had been in Africa about a week when I finally got this fly-by that I was pretty much ready for. I have to say, it is one neat looking bird!
