Things were pretty slow during my visit to Brazoria NWR on Monday, it might have had something to do with the fact that it was around noon but there seemed to be fewer birds than I expected even at that time of day. What did save the visit was the flock of White-faced Ibises. They were hopping around and catching crawfish out in Olney Pond and basically offering a nice challenge for photography. I thought I might call this one “Hands up!”
