This Brown Pelican was one of many that were hanging around at the Texas City Dike during a visit last month. They obviously get fed by the fishermen and I feel pretty confident that this individual was expecting a hand out, that little expression reminded me of my sister’s dog sitting beside me at dinner hoping for a little something from the table.
