During our visit to Trinidad earlier this month we made several trips down to the lekking area of the Bearded Bellbirds in hopes for a clear view of these strange birds. Persistence paid off and we all managed some decent shots of them making their metallic calls. I was quite impressed with how wide they can open their mouths.
