These Gray-headed Chachalacas were hanging out near our hotel during our visit to Costa Rica last month and they were so cute sitting together that I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a few photos. I didn’t notice it until later but I really liked the symmetry of the white spots on the base of each bird’s tails; almost like a mirror image.
