We came across this curious looking Gray-capped Flycatcher on the road to Arenal National Park during our visit to Costa Rica last month. I think this bird was headed down to a small pool of water on the side of the road for a bath but may have had second thoughts when we pulled over and pointed our cameras in its direction. I definitely think it was keeping a close eye on us. Whatever the case was, I was glad to get that strong eye contact.
