This Baltimore Oriole was one of many that we saw during our visit to Costa Rica last month. I found it so nice to see these “familiar friends.” Whenever I see them in Costa Rica I am reminded of a dream that I had while I was visiting Mongolia. It was so freezing out that I was really struggling to sleep but when I did finally fall asleep I had a dream of the Baltimore Orioles in Costa Rica on their way back north and that vision gave me a great comfort that I recall every time I see them.
