This Yellow-breasted Crake was probably the most exciting bird for me on our trip to Costa Rica earlier this month. I had heard them before and on one occasion saw one for about one second as it ran past a gap in some vegetation but I never had a satisfying photo, or even look for that matter before. When this one walked right out in the open I could hardly believe my eyes. I was so excited I can hardly believe I managed a clear shot!
