This Northern Barred Woodcreeper is one of several species of woodcreeper we saw during our visit to Costa Rica this month. It was spending a good deal of effort probing around in the moss growing on the trees in the rain forest. Thankfully this slowed the bird down enough that we were able to get some good photos.
