This Laughing Falcon was quite a treat during our visit to the Pantanal. We were headed in to lunch after a nice morning of birding and spotted this beauty sitting in a tree near the road. After getting a few shots at a distance some of us wanted to try to get a little closer for a bit more detail. Someone accidently stepped on the wrong stick and we got lucky as the bird flew by to another nearby perch.
