A bird that proved to be quite a challenge to get a satisfactory photo of was the Thrush-like Wren. We saw and heard them several times during the trips, almost always in small flocks (family groups I assume) and typically noodling around in the tops of the palm trees. We got lucky with this individual who was making his way down to the water. He didn’t hang around on an open perch for very long but he did stay long enough for us to get some photos.
