This Brewster’s Warbler was a nice surprise on our Michigan trip last May. We were searching for a Golden-winged Warbler and this odd looking fellow popped up much to our delight. Thankfully he was willing to pose for a couple of shots before disappearing back into the undergrowth. The Brewster’s Warbler is a hybrid of Golden-winged Warbler and Blue-winged Warbler and aren’t all that common.
