Over the past two days I have had the pleasure of showing some photographers from California around southeast Texas and despite some very challenging weather conditions we managed to have a great time. Yesterday afternoon we came across a small pool of water with lots of sandpipers feeding. This female Wilson’s Phalarope was the one that really stole the show for me. We had a great time trying to keep up with her as she darted around picking up food items.
