A highlight of our trip to west Texas this past week was this Golden-cheeked Warbler that we encountered on our way west in San Antonio. It took us a while to finally see the bird but our patience paid off. Our time with him wasn’t long but I think we made the most of it. It was amazing how fast my friend stopped complaining about his foot pain from walking once after we saw him!!!
