This Bell’s Sparrow was a treat during our California trip earlier this month. The weather was horrible out with lots of wind and rain all morning. When we arrived to the habitat for the sparrows the weather settled and the sun even peeked out a little bit and the birds actually came out for a little bit before the next round of bad weather started. All morning I felt sure we weren’t going to get this special bird but I sure was glad we tried anyway.
