I think the bird in the Lower Rio Grande Valley with the most interesting name has to be the Northern Beardless Tyrannulet. As you can see it isn’t terribly flashy but I think it is still a nice looking little bird. It can also be a bit of a challenge to find so I was pretty pleased when we came across this one last week.
