I just love it when we get an unexpected bird on a trip and this week I had just such a surprise. While looking for Rio Grande Valley specialties with another photographer we encountered this Black-throated Gray Warbler. It was definitely not a species I was expecting to see at Bentsen State Park. This little beauty didn’t hang around for very long but we did manage a couple of quick shots.
