Buteogallus urubitinga

This Great Black Hawk is another bird from our recent Pantanal trip. It was interesting watching them as most of the times we saw them there were at ponds where lots of wading birds catching fish. When a heron or egret would catch a fish the hawk would swoop down and steal the catch.
