Heliornis fulica

Another fun bird from our Costa Rica trip was this Sungrebe. When we finally found this odd bird the weather was getting bad with thunder getting closer and closer. It took all of my skill to get a reasonably sharp photo of this one as it was quite dark and the bird just wouldn’t stop moving.
