Hi Greg, check for female of Yellow-bellied Seedeater (Sporophila nigricollis), which habitat was it, have pictures of back, did you see the male of this species?, can be confused with female of Chestnut-bellied Seedeater (Sporophila castaneiventris), Best regards from Peru! It sort of looks like Brown-Headed Cowbird, though here he is somewhat greenish.
