Brazos Bend State Park

Brazos Bend State Park is in my opinion one of the best places to visit if you haven’t birded in the Houston area before and have limited time in the area. The park offers plenty of hiking trails and lots of great birds. The park mainly offers riparian habitat but also offers some nice patches of prairie.

This is a wonderful gallery. Brazos Bend is one of my favorite places as well -- it never ceases to amaze me on every visit. Keep up the great work!

i have lots of pics of egret family...and some other beautiful birds. You can find them off Dairy Ashford between Alief Clodine and Highstar, to the west where you can find few trees and tall grasses....lots of them hang out there.
