Returning to the track after a foot patrol in the rubber plantation. Summer '67.

Yes, those are beer cans sitting on top of the track. This was taken shortly before beer in the field was outlawed, which made me a lot happier as the medic. Taking care of casualties is one thing - drunks, especially in a combat situation, are a whole 'nother story.

Stirs memories ... I was in that same rubber plantation (Michelin)in the Spring of '69 ...
