In "Blood Trails" author Chris Ronnau of 3rd Sqd/1st Plt/'C'/2nd Bn/28thReg ends his great diary with a brave account of a battle in which he and 15 others were casualties. He and sq. Sergeant Sharp provided 'coverfire' for the plt. to withdraw in April 1967. During that time Ronnau was shot in the jaw and medivaced out. Does anyone know what happened to Sharp? What was that battle called? And did Sharp or Ronnau receive medals for their acts of bravery? Thank you ~ USA 1st Bn. USAOCCS Ordn. '76-'79.
