Spring is springing

Flowering quince blooming is always one of the early signs of Spring in Northern California.

I actually took this photo on Feb. 10th and wasn't feeling well at the time. Since then it went from really not feeling well to a 6-day hospitalization with a combination of Influenza A and bilateral pneumonia. I came home last Friday afternoon, grateful for the care that I received. I'm probably not going on any photo safaris for awhile, but it's good to be home. You'll be seeing some older stuff for awhile.
