This was spur-of-the-moment, hand-held. I did take it into the Dynamic Fine (digital) Zoom range to get this close. I'm amazed sometimes by what the camera can do.

LOL. I have. With several different Canons & my 600mm Prime Lens and tele extenders added...
But never, ever hand held like I can with the Nikon P900. The P900 is always ready: any time & any place. Even without a tripod.
This is a great shot and testimony to what the P900 can do in a good photographer's hands. Amazing detail. I applaud you and this photo.
