Swiss Army Car

A 1961 BMW (yes, you heard right) Isetta 300. How did the US auto makers get so far behind so quickly from that point?

A seat, a small engine under it and 4 wheels...not much more that that! I remember the Isetta name but did not know it was from the folks at BMW(Bavarian Motor Works)!
