I served as the FO with B CO 2/2 from August 66 until June 67. CO was Capt Ed Carr & First Sgt was William Branson. Jimmy Smith was a Plt Sgt. BN COs were LTC Jack Conn, LTC Collins, LTC Pelton. I then move on to 2/28th. I remember Lai Ke well but we were not in the base camp often or for a long time.
