Pioneer Cabin Tree

A large opening was cut through this tree in order to compete with the drive-through tree in the redwoods of the North Coast. Unfortunately, our forests were harmed by over-zealous logging and deliberate damage done to trees to draw tourists.

These trees are stupendous, Dave, and you've captured them well. They're SO big it's difficult to photograph them and really give sense to the size. voted
