Reflecting what would be commonly found in a "mud room" or back porch of a rural,
early 20th century American home.
Wood shelves, broom closet and hooks full of winter coats.
The items on the shelves are all my toys from my childhood.
The floor is linolium, not vinyl. The pattern is very similar to the
floor of the basement in the home where I grew up.
Linolium is an environmentally safe product made from cotton seed oil.
I made a conscious effort to avoid petroleum products, think environmentally
and use recycled steel metal roofing. This was prior to today's "Green" mentality.
