DAYS 35 and 36 (7 hours)

Seaboard House, Youngsville, NC

I spent about 3 hours on Day 35 tweaking the door fit. Took the cowl off and repositioned it a couple times and although it got better it isn't perfect. Things would get better one place but worse somewhere else so I've decided that good enough is just going to have to be good enough. I could spend a week trying to get another 1/16 improvement here or there or I could just stop now and grind/fill the door edges to tune the fit... There comes a time when you just have to recognize your limititations and keep moving.

This photo shows the final cowl fit and the inner-to-outer trimmed and reshaped. Emergency brake not shown here.
