Not sure the exact year... '70 or '71 but this was a prototype for Chrysley Corp. Seems one of the complaints about the Duster was that people were bumping their heads getting into the car so Chrysler came up with a modification that turned the hardtop into a full framed sedan type door that was cut into the roof.
This meant cutting the roof, building in a drip rail, making a track for the door glass to fit into, working out the weatherstripping, framing in the quarter window and fabricating a new interior trim piece for the quarter window.
