Our magical trip to Egypt with Duke University Alumni. Mena House . I'm enjoying the view of the pyramids from our room. Our first hotel couldn't have been more perfect. Mena House Floral arrangement (not my style) Abu Simbel. Built by the mightiest of the Pharaohs, Ramses II.

Ancient Egyptians tried to make a pilgrimage to Abydos, cult center of the god Osiris. Dogs are a common sight while visiting the temples.
