From approx. I-80 North to US Rt 6, the Pennsylvania "Wilds" is to me truly some of the best territory in the eastern US. Hike, bike, ski and all the while enjoy/admire the natural world.

Wonderful gallery. Lots of nice photos, some quite good! V One of my favorite places. I grew up in Western PA, Butler County, but we traveled north to hike and fish all the time. I've been in Texas for 33 years now, but in 2005 my husband and I took a trip to PA Grand Canyon and all those state parks around there.

Great pics - I have spent many happy hours hiking the BFT and fishing in Slate Run over the last 30+ years. It seems like a largely unspoiled wilderness! Good job! V
